We all have hopes, dreams and things we desire to attain and to achieve. One thing we must realize is that any form of success is never accomplished alone. Whether it be due to the contributions of one person or several, we are often to pushed to greatness because of a belief that we could make a difference. As motivational speaker Zig Ziglar reminds us in today’s quote, often times if we help others we will ultimately help ourselves. Everything has a way of paying things forward if we take the time and make the effort to put we before me.
It is imperative that we recognize that when we help others it not only fills their buckets but unknowingly, it fills ours at the same time. When we help to build someone’s self confidence ours also strengthens ten fold. Helping others unlocks multiple pathways and opportunities to achieving our goals in life. The people you have lent a hand to, will inadvertently do the same for you in your time of need. It pays homage to the old acronym TEAM meaning Together Everyone Achieves More. You may find that to sound cheesy but it is true.
Remember to always look at things through someone else’s perspective. When you do so, you’ll understand why they are desiring what they are wanting to pursue in their lives. Often times that driver, is similar to the driver that lives within you. It more than often isn’t the same end goal but the process itself is the same. Process over product. Serve first, receive second. Never forget this important life rule.
