“A hero becomes a hero, not by focusing on themselves, but by caring about others. If you are only a hero in your own story your aren’t a hero. A hero is a difference maker in other people’s story.”
-Jon Gordon
One of the most challenging things is in life is truly knowing who we are or believing in what we can become. In today’s quote author, speaker and podcaster Jon Gordon reminds us of our potential to be the hero, not in our own story but in the story of someone else. We must recognize the power of we is ten times great than the power of me.
We have the opportunity to be that difference maker that he refers to each and every day. This is not just at work but at home as well. Our goal should be each and every day that when leave this world we will have left it in a better place than when we first entered into it. And when we are a hero in someone else’s story that means ours never has to truly end.
