Two Important Factors That Contribute To Your Well Being And The Well Being Of Others

Let’s face it. We are constantly on the go with the mindset that there is no rest for the weary. But what if we are weary and don’t even take the time to realize it? How can we possibly be good to serve others if we are like that? American novelist and speak Eleanor Brown reminds us in today’s that rest and self care are important for us in order to recharge and serve others who may also be a a weary or overwhelmed state of mind. If we ourselves are empty inside because we have neglected our own well being then we are no good to helping anyone else out in their time of need.
We are not super human and are not robots. We cannot continue to go on an unforgiving pace that over time will affect our mental and physical health. No job, no one’s life is worth sacrificing our own health. Nothing. We must take the time to have downtime and learn that tomorrow is another day and whatever task is unfinished, it is ok. You are ok. The earth will still spin on its axis and you will be able to tackle things with a fresh mind and body. Whether you meditate, read, exercise or listen to music to rest and practice that self-care, any and all are necessary. Remember you matter and so does your own self-care. You hold these self-care cards and its time to play your hand and use them before it becomes too late to take care of your own well being.
