There Is Purpose To Our Pain

“There is a purpose to the pain. Don’t give up. Even if you can’t see it in the moment, you will become stronger from it.”

-Dan Cortese

When we experience certain struggles and pain in our life we often wonder why is it happening to us? We wonder what is its purpose? In today’s quote Actor Dan Cortese reminds us that we need to stay the course and not give up. Our strength comes from within. We need to recognize this and embrace it. We need to see the forest through the trees. Think back to those moments that you thought at the time there was no way you’d overcome what was challenging you. Look where you are now. You survived. In fact I think it is more than that: you thrived. You more than likely are better for it for having faced what you faced. We need to reach deep and focus on the process and let our own morals and values guide us in channeling that inner strength that we all possess. Stay the course and envision the greatness that you already have within.

What does this quote mean to you and how can you apply today’s message towards defining/refining your own moral compass?
