Many of us seek that ultimate prize or treasure that makes life all worth while (or at least we think it does). Some strive for those monetary things while others just seek fame or notoriety. Both are things that only satisfy the external factors of our lives. But only one thing can truly bring us closer to knowing ourselves better and ultimately loving ourselves better. It is all about learning.
As the Chinese Proverb mentions in today’s quote, learning in fact is that treasure. The knowledge we acquire each and every day is based on what we read, listen to and most importantly, experience. We grow when we allow to open our hearts and our minds to becoming the best we can possibly be. Learning is internal and is it is why it follows you everywhere like the quote says. We get what we put out into the world when we apply that learning to all facets of our lives. Learning is the one constant that must be a part of our daily repertoire. We should never stop seeking to acquire new knowledge. It is up to us to make sure we satisfy that hunger of learning in all that we do in order to become the change we wish to see in the world and most importantly, make a difference.
