Often times we are faced with challenges that question us constantly as to who we are and what we actually stand for. All of this is driven by what our true purpose is. We see in movies and shows examples of this all the time when references are made to Superheroes like Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman. The thing is this, as we know these superheroes are fictional characters. They don’t exist, but we do.
As Stan Lee points out in today’s quote we are in fact the superheros of our own story. Our secret power? Helping those in need. Why? Because it is the right thing to do; not a ought to do, but rather a must do. When we give ourselves whole heartedly to help someone else no matter the circumstances, that is the most heroic act of all.
When we realize how impactful we can become and do things for the greater good, nothing else comes close to being a superhero.
