Our Moral Compass: Know Where You Are Going In Your Own Life

“All you have to do is know where you’re going. The answers will come to you of their own accord.”

-Earl Nightingale

We often times have so many questions we have to answer from day to day and one of the most challenging things is that we are always thinking we need to have all the answers to them. American author Earl Nightingale reminds us in today’s quote that there is really only one thing we need to answer each and everyday: Where are we going? Do we know where we are going in your own life and what we wish to accomplish; our ultimate goal? He says once we know this the rest of the answers will fall into place.

This again refers to our purpose, our why. When we allow our moral compass to guide us we focus on right from wrong and what we ultimately value for ourselves and for the ones we love. We always are trying to seek answers in life when essentially the answers lie within us and us alone. We need to trust the process and realize our path will become much more defined when we know where it is we want to go in life.

What does this quote mean to you and how can you apply today’s message towards defining/refining your own moral compass?
