Our Moral Compass: Patience is Power

“Patience is power. Patience is not an absence of action; Rather it is ‘timing.’ It waits on the right time to act, for the right principles and in the right way.”

-Fulton J. Sheen

I’m sure you have heard that patience is a version but have you heard that patience is a power too? In today’s quote American theologian Fulton J. Sheen states this and then some. Patience doesn’t mean we do nothing. We are doing something. We are waiting. Waiting for the right time, the right moment to act. When we are patient we essentially are waiting for those stars to align and make the best decision possible for our next course of action. It is here in this moment we rely on those principles that are morally just and right and choose the path that will bring us true joy and happiness. It is all within our own control if we allow patience to lead the way.

What does this quote mean to you and how can you apply today’s message towards managing yourself better?
