Former NFL player, writer, public speaker, humanitarian and author of the book Let The World See You Sam Acho is one that truly embodies the desire to make this world a better place. He also has an Athletes for Justice podcast and its efforts are widespread in becoming more socially aware of the injustices of the world around us and ways in which we can help change for the better. He reminds us in today’s quote that each of us has the opportunity to do wonderful things in this life.
The challenge is allowing the world to see us for who we are and the awesome potential we each have in making this world a better place. It goes beyond just what we do for a living, it is who we truly are. Our moral character. What we value and what is most important to us. We go through this life just once and it is up to us to get it right. We are worth getting to know like Sam Acho says. So as Nike encourages us to do in it’s commercials, just do it.
