I am sure you have heard from someone at one time or another how much potential you have and Award-Wining Composer, Lyricist and Actor Lin-Manuel Miranda’s quote reminds us of this. We have the potential each and every day to make it the greatest day of our lives. Does this always happen? No of course not. However….that potential is always there and that to me is very exciting. Each day is like having the opportunity to hit the reset button or be like Bill Murray in Groundhog day minus Sonny and Cher where he repeats February 2nd over and over again until he gets it right.
This reminds me of Brene’ Brown’s following quote “I’m not here to be right, I’m here to get it right.” I love this because to me that is what life is all about…. to get it right. When we think with this kind of mindset it opens the doorway toward reaching that potential of having the greatest day of our lives. I often have said the only limits we have are the ones we put on ourselves and this is no different. Let us remember to let our own moral compass be that guide to make what starts out as just an ordinary day to one that is extraordinary.
