It’s Up To You
“They always say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.”
-Andy Warhol
The saying time is of the essence is one I know we have all heard before and it is something that as I get older rings truer every day. Today’s quote from American artist Andy Warhol reminds us that although time is constant it is us and not time itself that changes things. We are more capable than we give ourselves credit for. The biggest thing is we have to make the choice to want to change: change ourselves, change our circumstances, change whatever it is that we want to. Now we don’t know how long it will take for change to actually occur but if we never make the decision to change then we already will have our answer which is never. So make a pact with yourself to want change to happen because if it doesn’t start with you then who will it start with?
What does this quote mean to you and how can you apply today’s message towards developing your responsible decision making skills?
