Every Moment

“Every moment is an organizing opportunity, every person a potential activist, every minute a chance to change the world. “

-Dolores Huerta

Did you ever stop for a minute to realize that every moment truly does matter? How a certain moment of time can impact you and others? American labor leader Dolores Huerta reminds us in today’s quote that each moment we experience provides us with an opportunity to make a difference in not only our lives but in the lives of others. Let’s face it: there is a lot that needs to be fixed or drastically improved in many areas around the world from education to ending world poverty or overcoming the current pandemic for that matter.

We can all be activists for something that we want see change for. We just need to open our eyes and look around. We need to decide where the need is that is within our certain area of interest and pursue it. We have the ability to make a difference if we choose to make it happen.

What does this quote mean to you and how can you apply today’s message towards becoming more socially aware?
