“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.”
-Vincent Van Gogh
In today’s quote artist Vincent Van Gogh reminds us that essentially Rome wasn’t built overnight. It was built brick by brick much like anything else is in life with time and effort. Ever hear the the phrase slow and steady wins the race? Greatness or experiencing great things is something that doesn’t just happen all at once it also takes time. When we learn to harness our self control and recognize that it is a series of small events that once combined form the great things we are searching for, we are more apt to repeating this level of patience and persistence.
Never be in a hurry to experience great things. Remember everything is built upon each of those moments along the way. Each should be cherished and celebrated because the process and the news perspective you will gain from it is what truly matters most.
What does this quote mean to you and how can you apply today’s message towards managing yourself better?
