“There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about.“
-Margaret J. Wheatley
The power of community. A united front of human beings all standing and fighting together for the same cause. One in the same. A true testament as to what a team is. As American writer Margaret J. Wheatley says in today’s quote is essentially that once a community discovers what it cares about there truly is no greater power for change. The power for righteousness and justice for all mankind. So what does the community that you live in care about? Do they care about the well being of others? Do they care about taking care of the sick and the poor or for their children to get a good and equitable education? The questions you can ask of yourself and the community are limitless. Each community has their own niche for what they believe in. Once you discover it, you will soon know your what and your why and together, you will also determine your how together as one community. Look towards your community in creating a better tomorrow.
What does this quote mean to you and how can you apply today’s message towards developing your relationship skills?
