“Through judging, we separate. Through understanding, we grow.”
-Doe Zantamata
One of the questions I have always had is why are we so quick to judge others? Does it make us think we are better than someone else? Does it give us some sort of power? Well if it does we are wrong on both accounts. As Doe Zanamata says in today’s quote judging others only brings separation; a division between our fellow man or woman. An unnecessary act if you ask me.
Differences can only make all of us better, all of us stronger. If we take the time to understand as Zantamata says, we in fact grow. We grow mentally, we grow spiritually. Life is all about evolving and becoming who we are destined to be. When we remove the barriers that we have created within our own mind, we are more socially aware of the world (and people) around us.
What does this quote mean to you and how can you apply today’s message towards becoming more socially aware?
