Becoming the Change: Get Better, Not Bitter

“Don’t get bitter. Get better. Find the lesson and move on.”

-Jon Gordon

Life doesn’t always go the way in which we have planned sometimes. It can have more downs than ups. However, this to me is a test. A test of our temperament. A test of our patience, our sheer will to overcome any challenge. In today’s quote by Jon Gordon reminds us that becoming bitter doesn’t help you or anyone else. Now if we work to get better then there lies the answer we are looking for. Life is full of lessons. It is up to us to learn from their teachings, adapt and move on. It makes no sense wasting your time having your own pity party. Rely on your moral compass and let it lead you towards getting better, no bitter.

What does this quote mean to you and how can you apply today’s message towards defining/refining your own moral compass?
