We Are All Leaders Who Inspire

“Leaders inspire themselves and others to do, be, give, and become more than they ever thought possible.”

-Tony Robbins

Hope. Its more than a four letter word in my book. And although I know that hope is not a strategy it is something that, if you are a true leader, can give to others that you lead. A true leader not only serves but inspires others in the process of leading others to be the best that they can be. Author and motivational coach Tony Robbins’ quote defines the purpose behind being a leader: that they inspire others to do, be, give and become more than they ever though possible. But before they can do all of this I left out one important piece of is quote: leaders inspire themselves. Without inspiring oneself the rest in my opinion cannot happen. If we do not know our why we cannot help others discover theirs. It all comes down to having a solid and trusting relationship with others and especially with ourselves.

I have often said that many of us, and this includes myself, sell ourselves short of what we can truly do in this life. We are capable of great things and can truly make a difference in the lives of others if we put our talents and unique gifts to the test. We are all leaders. Leaders of a classroom, of a company, of a family or something else. We also all have the potential to have a positive impact on others we come into contact with each and everyday. The more we give to others the more we receive in return and those that we inspire will, in turn, inspire others. Let’s make sure we continuously strive to inspire ourselves and others because together we can make this world a better place.

What does this quote mean to you and how can you apply today’s message towards developing your relationship skills?
